This could be for emergency eviction prevention or as a security deposit grant to help you move into a more affordable rental unit. If you live outside of the Greater Ferndale area, OLHSA can also provide referrals to the Department of Human Services which administers the State Emergency Relief Program.

OLHSA also participates in the Homeless Assistance Recovery Program (HARP). It administers the Housing Choice Voucher Program (commonly referred to as Section 8), which provides subsidized rents to lower income individuals and families who qualify for assistance.
