River City Ministry is based in North Little Rock. Helping with security deposits is one potential option for keeping people out of homelessness. They received some federal grant money last year that could improve your chances of getting assistance. We featured this organization in a response to another Arkansas resident.
We need rental assistance fast here in South Florida. We have to move from our current residence because we can no longer afford the rent. I am working ($33K) but with health insurance my check alone is not enough. My husband just started working, hasn’t gotten his first paycheck yet but we need to move this weekend! Any agencies that could assist?

There are a few possible sources of assistance to help you gain access to new housing when you are unable to come up with the security deposit. Self Help can meet with you to evaluate your situation and link you with available security deposit aid. Accion may similarly be able to help. EFSA aid is available through the Goulds Community Enrichment Center or Liberty City. Some aid is direct while referrals can also provide some funding towards your next deposit.
I live in Palestine tx with my wife and 2 little girls. I lost my job at oil field and we lost are house and we are and have been since then living in her parents garage I got us an apartment but I don’t have the $1500 to get us in there. I need help please is there anything out there?

Hi I would be considered homeless staying with friends and my bf once in awhile me and my bf got approved for an apartment but he just lost his job and i am not currently working cause of an injury that allows me not to work at my job right now i do have a job and will be going back in the next 2-3 weeks so we are in need of help for security deposit and maybe first months rent I cant stand asking for help nor do i like to but i really need a constant place to live and get back on my feet i just need help for a start please thank you for taking you time with this.
