Need help with 1st month rent and security deposit in Grand Rapids MI

I am a recently released (Oct 22, 2014) prisoner from MDOC, I was in a transitional/recovery home for 6 months and then went to a sober boarding house – turns out its not so sober. I have found a property management company that will rent to me but I need the deposit and first months rent ( $1200 ) I work about 30 hrs a week and get SSD for Multiple Sclerosis. I have now been clean and sober for 18 months and need to get into my own place to protect that. What are some resources here in Grand Rapids that I could pursue?
