RI motel vouchers available through Tri-Town CAA

Residents of several Rhode Island communities are protected from homelessness by an emergency shelter program that provides immediate aid to those in crisis. Tri-Town Community Action Agency can step in to help those who may have just been evicted from their home and otherwise have no place to turn to. (more…)

Crossroads Rhode Island rental assistance program granted $750,000

Thanks to a $750,000 allocation from the General Assembly, Crossroads Rhode Island is now able to provide rental assistance to lower-income individuals and families in the Providence area. The new funds are making a big difference already in helping distressed tenants find new life in the rental market. (more…)

BVCAP Provides Rent Payments and Security Deposit Grants to Low-Income RI Households

Blackstone Valley Community Action Program (BVCAP) is one of the leading rental assistance programs in Rhode Island. Instead of loans, BVCAP provides cash handouts to landlords of those who are in imminent danger of being evicted. (more…)
