(Request from Lauren in Long Beach, California) I recently lost my job and am in serious risk of being evicted. I have been unable to work something out with my land lord and have been given until the 16th of this month to pay the remaining $500 I owe. I have applied for several loans and been denied for all of them most likely because I do not have a job.
