I know that this is short notice but if i could possibly get a grant to help maybe my landlord would work with me . I am a single mother i injured myself and lost my job i have applied for disability and i was denied . I just had an interview application for ssi in dec and she told me it would be a couple months before i would know if i could get ssi .she also told me that if i did it would pay back from nov 2014 .I have applications in everywhere and i have talked to couple places and they told me they will be hiring soon and i would be the first they call although i have an eviction court date of jan 13th i owe 1565.00 in rent i have called several churches ,salvation army im going to the trustees office tommorow . my whole family is deceased so i have no one to turn to for help If you can help me an any way i would so much appreciate it
It appears that you are doing so much to head off the eviction. I strongly recommend documenting everything that you have done and put together an action plan that shows how you will get back on track. Taking this to your landlord might be enough to get them to request that the hearing be rescheduled. Also, if you are able to bring in part of the amount it may show an act of good faith to allow for more time.
The only sure way to prevent the eviction though is to come up with the full amount. A loan is not possible due to your unemployed status. Do you have any items that you can sell to raise a few hundred dollars?
Hi what do I say or where do I start. I am behind in my rent , due to financial hardships I am facing. I work full time,and looking for someone to give me an part time job, or lend me an installment loan from 12-24 months to pay off these rent arrears . I must warn you that my credit is poor and I am willing to sign an agreement where money is taken every month from my checking account. Time is running out for me and grandson . I have emailed, fax , wrote, called, charties , foundation etc. thanks and hoping me the best . Please help us
