Hi. I have yet to receive a notice , but the rental company has been in contact with me and before things get serious I would love to avoid it. I live in Baltimore, Maryland and am late by $1033. Lost my job unexpectedly. What can I do???? email me if need be at [email protected]
Don’t wait to request assistance. They will let you know whether you must wait for an eviction notice to receive help with a late rent payment.
They did say I’d need to wait to have a eviction notice before I can get their help. Is that the only way?

hello we live in shiloh ,il with a 3 month old baby and we need help to catch up our rent . we will be evicted this coming week. we have 200.00 to put towards it but thats all. we have went to all the places we can find that is supposed to assist but they are out of funds. any ideas

I’m from Indianapolis Indiana and a single mother. I am in desperate need to catch up my rent before eviction is filed so me and my kids can keep our home. I am 480.00 short. I can repay by making payments. I just need the lump sum of 480.00 now. Help please. Thank you.I am a single mother of two and am in desperate need of $800.00 to avoid being evicted. I have just now, as of the first, gotten approved for section 8 and foodstamps due to being laid off from my job. I have no other outside income or help like chikd support. I am recieving unemployment, but due to a check being late, it bounced my check. Now if i don’t come up with the money, i face eviction from both my place and section 8. I don’t know what else to do as we gave absolutely no where else to go. I’m starting a job next week so even a loan would be great. Anything is more than appreciated. Thank you!
I am a single mother of 3 with only one income and no financial assistance from the childrens father. I have received notice that if i do not pay $1846.23 by 9am on June 24, 2016, that they will file with the court to start the eviction process. I have no money to pay this and am not eligible for assistance through the welfare office even though i am well below he poverty level for a family of 4 in Bucks County, Pa. What can i do to avoid becoming homeless? Please help.

I need help fast, I’m behind one months rent going into second. Just got back on our feet (due to identity theft/Medical) Husband and I have jobs but ran in hardship. We have no vehicle or any other shelter to house also my 11yr. daughter & 2 dogs. My Apartment manager has been very nice about my situation, I just cant find any help. Will work/volunteer Anything….I am single mother of one 10 year old daughter. I recently broke my ankle outside of work and and could not work for three weeks. I only work part time and have no benefits. My rent is due and I don’t have the money. What should I do next so I don’t get evicted.
Hello, my name is Michael from North Palm Beach, FL and I just now got a 3 day notice to “Pay or Quit” basically at the last minute. I know I am a month behind in rent but I had to take my girlfriend to the hospital because she was giving birth and when I went back to check on things, I saw on my door the 3 day notice and I was NOT notified about this at all.
He know I’m trying my hardest to pay for rent and I thought he would be kind-hearted. Now, I’m at risk of losing my home and I don’t want to lose my new born daughter. PLEASE HELP.
